ComAp has one of the biggest R&D departments in the industry and environmental sustainability as a core value. As such, we strive to make our solutions more efficient, reduce emissions, and decrease the usage of fossil fuels in traditional energy generation.
The energy industry is undergoing one of the most important transitions. There is a strong trend in decentralisation of the power generation market due to the growth of renewable energy sources. As the leader in smart energy management, we will continue to invest for growth and develop new technologies – with special focus on clean solutions – to support our customers on their energy transition journey.

Certified suppliers
Our key suppliers must conform to a range of standards, including:
- ISO 14001, which deals with a range of environmental issues
- RoHS Restriction of Hazardous Substances
- REACH Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals
Reducing CO2 emissions
- By moving ComAp’s IT operations to the cloud, we have reduced our CO2 emissions by 30%
- We offset 100% of all CO2 emissions associated with product transport

With years of industry experience and advanced engineering knowledge, ComAp is helping organisations and communities integrate renewables into their energy solutions.
Based on our experience with renewables projects globally we provide:
- Consultancy and advice on projects for the renewable energy market
- Complete, turn-key control system installation depending on our customers’ needs
Sustainability in our own offices
Our headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic are:
- BREEAM certified, level "excellent": up to 70% energy and water savings compared to standard offices
- Powered from 100% renewable energy resources
We have also taken measures in our subsidiaries, including:
- A sustainable office in Italy with:
- hybrid energy system using solar power
- smart control management of air conditioning and heating in our meeting rooms that turns on only when a room is booked via an online reservation system
- 100% renewable electricity and flushing with rain water in our office in Germany
